How our Pizza Fundraisers Work
Request your brochures - Call us at 860-384-3691 or email deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com. We will ship 1 brochure, order form, and collection envelope for each of your participants who will ask their family, friends, and neighbors to buy items from the French Bread Pizza brochure. Orders are taken and money is collected. We offer an electronic payment option for your supporters, in addition to cash sales.
Participant Letter - We will customize a participant letter to include why you are fundraising, your goal, closing date, to whom to make checks payable, if applicable, and whom to contact if any participants have questions. The letter will include the steps for a participant to register, the online store web address, your Group ID, tips for promoting the fundraiser through email, text, social media, and instructions for your customers to place orders.
Fundraising Goals - Review your goals with your members and set a minimum number of items for each participant to sell. In addition to sharing the brochure with coworkers, friends, and family, we recommend that participants email 30-40 contacts, send texts, and post on all available social media platforms to encourage direct purchases from the seller and/or to share the link for online pizza purchases. Supporters can pay your organization by cash, check, or cash app. You choose. We also provide electronic payment by phone.
Promoting your Online Fundraising Store - Your organization can raise even more money with our online store by offering hundreds of assorted items and donation options. Online sales will make it easy for your participants to contact their family and friends locally and throughout the United States. We will set up an account for your organization, provide you with a unique Group ID for your store, and we'll provide login information for your chairperson's dashboard. Your chairperson will invite participants to register as sellers by directing them to visit the online store, enter your Group ID, and click on a registration link. Online Fundraising Shopping Options - Your supporters can have their order shipped to your organization along with your brochure sales order. Your organization will earn up to a 40% profit on all online sales.
Student Success - The key to a successful online fundraiser is to ensure your students register as sellers and use multiple invitation options to encourage their friends and family to shop on your Goodies and Gifts online store. We highly recommend encouraging your participants to send out messages on the first day your sale starts. Because people are forgetful or may need to be asked more than once before purchasing, we recommend asking your participants to send out emails and posts as a reminder halfway through your sale. A few days before the end of your sale, a "last chance to order" reminder should be sent. As a chairperson, sending reminders to your participants will be the key to success.
After your traditional brochure selling period (we recommend 2-3 weeks), collect the order forms and money from your sellers. Money is deposited in your organization's account, and the Pizza order forms are submitted to us for processing. We will provide you with a shipping label for returning your seller's order forms. There are no case requirements for the Pizza fundraiser! Order only what you sell!
Cut-Off Dates - We highly suggest starting a fall fundraiser early in the season. Significantly higher participation and higher sales are achieved with September fundraisers. Sales decrease with each week closer to the end of the year. Start early to allow enough time to complete your fundraiser and for the brochure order forms to be received before the following cut-off dates. Order forms should be submitted by the dates below.
Easter: For delivery prior to Easter Sunday, orders forms need to be returned by the week of March 6th for delivery the week of April 3rd.
Mother's Day: For delivery prior to Mother's Day, orders forms need to be returned by the week of April 10th for delivery the week of May 8th.
End of School Year/Spring Sports Season: Allow up to 3-4 weeks plus transit time after order forms have been received for data entry to be completed, the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered.
Thanksgiving: For delivery prior to Thanksgiving, orders forms need to be returned by the week of October 16th for delivery the week BEFORE the week of November 20th.
Christmas: For delivery prior to Christmas break, orders forms need to be returned by the week of November 13th for delivery the week of December 18th.
Oct-Dec delivery: Allow up to 4 weeks plus transit time after your order forms have been received for data entry to be completed, the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered.
Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice to you for the amount due. After reviewing the invoice for your pizza fundraiser, you can pay by mailing us a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card. We accept purchase orders from public schools with a 15-day payment agreement and will release your order for shipping upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with our Pizza fundraiser are shipped packed by each seller.
Upon receipt of payment or purchase order, your order will be processed, and the products will be shipped to you, packed by the seller, for distribution to your sellers.

Sales Reports/Invoice - Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice to you for the amount due for your pizza fundraiser. We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales, or vice versa if your online sales are higher. Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card for a fee. We accept purchase orders from public schools with a 15-day payment agreement and will release your order for shipping upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with our Pizza fundraiser are shipped and packed by each seller. Each student will receive a box labeled with their name.
Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront. We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your Pizza brochure sales. Orders shipping directly to a customer's home will ship within a few days. With traditional brochure orders, we do our best to ship your pizza order within 3-4 weeks once data entry has been completed. During the busiest season in October and November, additional time is required to ship your order. Please allow an additional 3-5 days once your order has shipped for transportation time.
To offer a Virtual, Direct Ship to Home only fundraiser, you can SIGN UP NOW. Frozen foods are not included. There is no need for anyone to sell face-to-face or use a brochure and order form. Once you submit the online form, your online sales will immediately activate the online store and the ability to raise funds until you are ready to close your sale. We will ship each order directly to the supporters. With our online sales, your group will earn a 40% profit! When possible, for higher sales, we suggest including a traditional brochure fundraiser. Packed-By-Seller Our fundraiser provides FREE Pack-By-Seller for all orders. Pack-By-Seller makes distribution a breeze for school fundraisers, sports team fundraisers, band fundraisers, etc.
Purchase Orders. If your school's policy requires submitting a purchase order with payment following the delivery of our pizza programs, we will accept a public-school purchase order with a 15-day payment agreement.
Upfront Costs: There are no fees to get started with our fundraisers. You can select one brochure for most programs. If you want to combine any of our programs, please call us to review the options and details. Sales from both brochures are combined to help you achieve a higher profit margin. We don't recommend combining brochures from different companies because each order is processed separately and can't be combined to qualify for free shipping or increase your profit percentage. Our fundraising brochures are free; we'll ship one for each seller. Due to the cost of purchasing and shipping the brochures to you, we require that you are 100% committed to making the fundraiser and do not cancel.
Minimums and Case Requirements—Our Pizza Fundraisers have no minimum order. The distributor will pack your orders labeled with each seller’s name, and we will ship the actual number of items sold per seller.
