How Does the LTD Fundraiser Work?
■ Review the candle fundraiser Sales Agreement, complete it, and submit it to us by fax, scan/email, or by postal mail. You can also submit your sales agreement electronically on our website. or simply call 860-384-3691 to get started right away.
■ You'll receive your brochures within just a few days and we'll send you a link to track your shipment. We'll review the steps of the fundraiser with you, provide guidance, and be available through our office to assist you 7 days a week!
■ Best Fundraising Ideas will create a customized participant letter that will contain imaging of the candles, all the details for why you are fundraising, your goal, end date, who to make checks payable to, who to contact if a seller has questions, directions and a QR Code for registering as a seller (online sales are optional!), and tips for increasing sales by using emails, texts, and posting on social media.
■ Distribute your candle fundraiser brochures to your sellers and determine how long you will continue your sales. (Most organizations sell for 2 weeks)
■ Customer checks, if taken, are made payable to your organization.
■ Sales Tax. LTD Fundraising will collect tax only for shipments to TX. If your organization is not tax-exempt, you will be responsible for collecting and paying the sales tax to your state unless you are in the state of TX. LTD Fundraising collects and pays the sales tax on your behalf to the state of TX.
■ Collect all brochures and payments at the end of your selling period and then call us at 860-384-3691. There are no minimums for submitting your candle fundraiser order. To submit an order packed by the seller, we’ll provide you with a spreadsheet to enter your seller’s orders. If you prefer to sort the orders we will email a Master Order Form for you to complete. You can then email the completed form to us and we'll email an invoice to you. You'll keep your brochures and profit, and remit payment only for the amount due.
■ Pay for your purchase. We accept school, business, or organization check, cashier check, money order, and credit card. Purchase orders are accepted for public schools and W-9s and vendor applications are provided as needed.
■ Shipping is free for your LTD Fundraising order with retail sales of just $500 or greater. Orders less than $500 in retail sales are charged $11.95 shipping.
■ A confirmation will be emailed to you once we receive payment. Once received, your order will be submitted to our shipping department. Orders are usually shipped by UPS. Large orders are usually shipped by a common carrier. You are welcome to email our office for shipping updates and estimated delivery date(s). Once payment for a candle order has been received you can expect to receive your shipment generally within 7 business days. Late orders are accepted with no minimum order required.
■ Report any missing or broken items. Seldom are there any missing or broken items with our shipments. However, should any corrections be required, email us the name of the student, the item description, how many were received, and how many were missing or broken, and we will process a new order for the replacements.
■ We’ll provide coaching to help your campaign succeed, extended office hours Mon-Sun 9 am-9 pm EST, and a solid commitment to process your order and any needed replacements with no delay. When you require help, we'll be available to assist you!
