With prices starting at $12, most customers purchase multiple items.

Price Range: All items are priced at $20.

Product Description: Enjoy an assortment of traditional and new popcorn flavors in large, gallon-sized bags. There are 19 amazing flavors! Choose our Heartland Sweet & Savory brochure to offer a great variety of items.

Minimum Order Requirement: None. Only order what you sell.

Case Requirements: None!

Online Fundraising Option: Can be offered with or without other product categories. You choose!

Upfront Costs: None. Brochures, order forms, and collection envelopes are free. 

Prize Program: Yes

Pack-By-Seller: All orders are individually packed for each seller at no extra cost.

Shipping Fee: Enjoy free shipping when selling 400 items or more items. That's just 40 students selling 10 items each!

Virtual Fundraising Option: Yes. An online-only fundraiser is available for your fundraising needs.

Purchase Orders: Public schools are eligible for 30-day invoice terms.

Payment Options: Accepted payment methods include organization checks, business checks, cashier's checks, and money orders. Credit cards are accepted with an additional fee. 

How Does the Poppin' Popcorn Fundraiser Work?

Request your brochures. For a traditional brochure fundraiser with online sales options, call us at 860-384-3691, email deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com, or register online: Start a Fundraiser    

We will ship one brochure, one order form, a customized participant letter, and one collection envelope to each participant, who will ask their family, friends, and co-workers to buy items from the brochure. Orders are taken, and payments are collected. We will finalize a fundraising agreement, customize your online store, and create a participant letter.

 

Fundraising Goals - Review your goals with your members and set a minimum number of items for each participant to sell. In addition to showing the brochure to co-workers, friends, and family, we suggest asking your participants to send emails, texts, and social media posts to encourage online purchases. 

Promoting your Popcorn Fundraiser Online - Your organization can raise even more money with our online store by offering hundreds of assorted items and donation options. Online popcorn fundraiser sales will make it easy for your participants to contact their family and friends locally and throughout the United States. We will set up an account for your organization, assign a unique Group ID for your store, and provide login credentials for your chairperson's dashboard. Your chairperson will invite participants to register as sellers by directing them to the popcorn fundraiser website, having them enter their Group ID, and clicking the registration link. Visit your chairperson's dashboard to track progress in real time! Students will receive prize credit for their online sales. 

Online Popcorn Sales Options - Your supporters can have their order shipped to your organization along with their brochure sales order, or they can have it shipped directly to their homes. 

 

Ending your Fundraiser - After your traditional brochure-selling period (2-3 weeks), collect your sellers' order forms and payments. Deposit the money in your organization's account. Order forms must be returned using a UPS/FedEx label we'll provide or via email attachments.   

Cut-Off Dates: We highly recommend starting a fall fundraiser early in the season. August and September fundraisers achieve significantly higher participation and sales, but sales decrease each week as the year comes to a close. Start early to allow enough time to complete your fundraiser and for the brochure order forms to be received before the following cut-off dates. 

Mother's Day: April 3rd
Thanksgiving: October 23rd
Christmas: November 20th

Order forms must be returned using a UPS/FedEx label we'll provide or via email attachments. 

 

Oct-Dec Delivery - Allow up to 4 weeks, plus transit time, after your order forms are received for data entry to be completed and the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered. 

​Sales Reports/Invoice - Once data entry is complete, we'll email the sales reports and your invoice for the due amount. We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount owing on your gourmet popcorn fundraiser brochure sales, or vice versa, if your online fundraising sales are higher than your brochure sales. Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing a school/business check or a money order, along with a copy of the invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card for a fee. We accept purchase orders from public schools with a 30-day payment agreement.

Order Packing: Products are shipped in bulk and sorted by the organization.  

Payment Options: Organization, Business, or Cashier's Check or Money Order. Credit cards are not accepted for this fundraiser.

Purchase Orders: Not accepted for the Sweet Chaos fundraisers.

How Does the Sweet Chaos Popcorn Fundraiser Work?

Brochures Shipment - We will ship one brochure with an order form for each of your sellers. Once you receive them, distribute your brochures and ask your participants to show them to their friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, acquaintances, etc., and invite them to purchase their favorite popcorn flavors.

 

Start Selling - Your participants will complete the order form with the supporter's name, contact information, address, and order details, and collect payment upfront. Customer checks, if taken, are made payable to your organization.

 

Increase Sales: We can provide JPEG images and a link to download the popcorn brochure as a PDF. You can either post the link to your parent letter on your school website or email it to your sellers. In turn, your sellers can send dozens of emails, texts, or social media posts inviting supporters to choose the popcorn they want to purchase. They can contact the participant with their order, who can then write it on the order form. Payment options could include cash, mailing a check, or using Venmo or another cash app. Continue your sales for 2-3 weeks. 

Reminder - Please have your participants sell to people they know, such as family, friends, and neighbors. Never have your participants sell door-to-door or enter someone's home. Remember to keep cash well secured when selling at an event. 

 

Ending your Fundraiser - Collect all order forms and participant payments at the end of your selling period. Allow a few days for late orders to be submitted. Tally the number of items sold and email the totals to deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com. Alternatively, call us at 860-384-3691 to place your order over the phone. Once we receive it, we will email you an invoice.

 

Keep your Profit Upfront - Pay your amount due. Once we receive payment (check, cashier's check, or money order), your order will be packed and shipped in 1-2 weeks. UPS usually ships smaller orders. Larger orders are shipped by a carrier and delivered on a pallet. You'll then distribute your orders and the popcorn brochure/order form to your participants.​​
