How Our Cheese & Sausage Fundraisers Work

Choose your Cheese & Sausage Fundraising Brochure - You can choose one brochure, or you may want to consider combining our Heartland Cheese and Sausage fundraising brochure with our Pine River Cold Pack Wisconsin Cheeses brochure to offer your supporters more variety. Brochures will be combined as one fundraiser to qualify for free shipping and items from both brochures will be packed together per seller. We suggest running this fundraiser in September to ensure delivery before Thanksgiving and for higher sales. Request your brochures - Call us or complete a fundraising Purchase and Reservation Agreement and return it to us by fax to 410-630-7080 or scan/email to deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com. We will ship 1 brochure, order form, and collection envelope for each of your participants who will ask their family, friends, and neighbors to buy items from the brochure. Orders are taken and money is collected. We offer an electronic payment option for your supporters besides cash sales.

Participant Letter - We will customize a participant letter to include why you are fundraising, your goal, closing date, whom to make checks payable to, if applicable, and whom to contact if any participants have questions. The letter will include the steps for a participant to register, the online store web address, your Group ID, tips for promoting the fundraiser through email, text, and social media, and instructions for your customers to place orders.

 

Fundraising Goals - Review your goals with your members and set a minimum number of items for each participant to sell. In addition to showing the brochure to co-workers, friends, and family, we suggest asking your participants to email 30-40 contacts, send texts, and post on all available social media to purchase directly with the seller and/or share the link to purchase online. Supporters can pay your organization by cash, check, or cash app. You choose. We also provide electronic payment by phone.

Promoting your Online Fundraising Store - Your organization can raise even more money with our online store by offering hundreds of assorted items and donation options. Online sales will make it easy for your participants to contact their family and friends locally and throughout the United States. We will set up an account for your organization, provide you with a unique Group ID for your store, and provide login information for your chairperson's dashboard. Your chairperson will invite their participants to register as a seller by inviting them to visit the online store, enter their Group ID, and click on a link to register as a seller. Visit your chairperson's dashboard to track progress in real-time!  Students will receive prize credit for their online sales.

Online Fundraising Shopping Options - Your supporters can have their order shipped to your organization along with your brochure sales order, or they can have their order shipped directly to their homes. Your organization will earn up to 40% profit on all online sales.

Student Success - The key to a successful online fundraiser is to ensure your students register as sellers and use many options to invite all their friends and family to shop at your Goodies and Gifts online store. We highly recommend encouraging your participants to send messages on the first day of your sale. Because people are forgetful or may need to be asked more than once before purchasing, we recommend asking your participants to send out emails and posts as a reminder halfway through your sale. A "last chance to order" reminder should be sent a few days before your sale's end. As a chairperson, sending reminders to your participants will be the key to success.

After your traditional brochure selling period (we recommend 2-3 weeks), collect the order forms and money from your sellers. Deposit the money in your organization's account, and submit the order forms to us for processing. We will provide a shipping label for returning your seller's order forms. There are no case requirements for the Heartland Cheese & Sausage fundraiser or our Pine River Wisconsin Cheese fundraiser! Order only what you sell!

Profit - We encourage you to sell 400+ items; your profit will be 40%. Orders of less than 400 items will earn a 25%- 38% profit, depending on the number of items sold.

Sell 400+ items - Earn 40%

Sell 300-399 items - Earn 38%

Sell 200-299 items - Earn 35%

Sell 150-199 items - Earn 30%

Sell 120-149 items - Earn 25%

Shipping - Receive free shipping with 120+ items sold.

Book this fundraiser early in the fall and allow up to 5+ weeks for delivery.

Minimum Order - 120 items

Sales Reports/Invoice - Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice for the due amount. We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales, or vice versa if your online sales are higher. Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card for a fee. We accept purchase orders from public schools with 15 15-day payment agreement and will release your order to be shipped upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with our cheese and sausage fundraisers are shipped packed by each seller.  

Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront.  We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales.  Orders shipping directly to a customer's home will ship within a few days. With traditional brochure orders, we do our best to ship your cheese and sausage fundraiser order within five weeks of receiving payment. Shipping your order during the busiest season in October and November may take additional time. Please allow an additional 3-5 days once your order has shipped for transportation time.

To offer a Virtual, Direct Ship to Home only fundraiser, you can SIGN UP NOW. No one needs to sell face-to-face or use a brochure and order form. Virtual fundraisers do not include foods that require refrigeration. Cheese spreads are shelf-stable, and cold-pack cheese items need refrigeration. Once you submit the online form, your online sales will immediately activate the online store and allow you to raise funds until you are ready to close your sale. We will ship each order directly to the supporters. Your group can still earn a 40% profit with our online sales!  For higher sales, we suggest including a traditional brochure fundraiser. We'll do the rest!  Reports will be provided for what each participant sold, and we'll box your orders packed by each seller at no additional fee.

Our Tons of Prizes program is reserved for elementary-middle school-age children and includes some of the coolest prizes you'll find anywhere, and kids will love them. Tons of Prizes is an accumulative prize program offered free to motivate your participants and reward them for a job well done! Setting a goal to earn a higher price level will keep your participants focused, motivated, and selling.

Our Tons of Prizes program is available on orders submitted as packed-by-seller, not for bulk orders. Individual student/participant order forms can't be combined to qualify for higher-level prizes, and we reserve the right not to ship prizes if the organization abuses the purpose of the prize program.
