How Does the La-Tee-Da Christmas Candles Fundraiser Program Work?

■  View all of our La-Tee-Da! Fundraising Brochures and select the brochures you feel will work best for your organization.  Combining our Christmas Candles brochure with our "Perfect Gifts for Family and Friends" or our "Simply $10" brochure is recommended to offer the greatest variety of items and will generally result in achieving higher sales.


 ■  Review the candle fundraiser Sales Agreement, select your brochure(s), complete, and submit the completed agreement to us by fax, scan/email, or by postal mail.  You can also submit your sales agreement electronically on our website. 


■  We can provide you with a sample cover letter you can modify.  


■  Sales Tax.  LaTeeDa will collect tax only for shipments to TX.  If your organization is not tax-exempt, you are able to collect and pay the sales tax to your state unless you are in the state of TX. LaTeeDa collects and pays the sales tax on your behalf to the state of TX.


■  Distribute your Christmas Candles fundraiser brochures to your sellers and determine how long you will continue your sales. (Most organizations sell for 2-3 weeks)  Customer checks, if taken, are made payable to your organization.


■ Collect all brochures and payments at the end of your selling period and then call us at 860-384-3691. There are no minimums for submitting your candle fundraiser order. To submit an order packed by the seller, we’ll provide you with an online order link to enter your seller’s orders. If you prefer to sort the orders you can complete a Master Order Form and then fax or email the completed form to us.  We will email an invoice to you.  You'll keep your brochures and profit, and remit payment only for the amount due. 


■  Pay for your purchase.  We accept a school or organization check, cashier's check, or money order.  W-9s and vendor applications are provided as needed. 


■  Shipping is free for your LaTeeDa Christmas Candles fundraiser with retail sales of just $200 or greater.  Orders less than $200 in retail sales are charged $15 shipping.

■   Due to COVID-19, you will have the option to ship orders home to your students. Profit will be 40% and shipping is free with student orders $200 or more in retail sales. Orders less than $200 will add a $15 shipping fee. We can also ship student orders less than $200, packed-by-seller, to one address with free shipping as long as the combined shipment is $200 or greater. At the conclusion of your fundraiser, your organization can decide how you wish to ship your student orders.


■  A confirmation will be emailed to you once we receive payment. Once received, your order will be submitted to our shipping department. Orders are usually shipped by UPS.  Large orders are shipped by carrier.  You are welcome to email our office for shipping updates and estimated delivery date(s). Once payment for a candle order has been received you can expect to receive your shipment generally within 7 business days.  Late orders are accepted with no minimum order required. 

■  We’ll provide coaching to help your campaign succeed, extended office hours Mon-Sun 9 am-9 pm EST, and a solid commitment to process your order and any needed replacements with no delay.  When you require help we'll be available to assist you!
